FSP Funds from Michigan DNR Renewed

Forest Stewardship Program Cost-Sharing Funds have been renewed to our grant account for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 from the Michigan DNR. As in the last ten years, forest management and wildlife management planning projects undertaken with us are eligible for substantial cost reductions using these funds.  Eligible landowners must have forests or woodlands in the state of Michigan. Cost-sharing for individual forest management plans can amount to between $450 and $2000 for a single plan and are available to woodland owners with parcels as small as 12 acres. To make use of these grant funds, plans must be completed by September 15, 2014. Contact us for more information about this opportunity to reduce the cost of getting a forest plan prepared for your woodlands.
